Chandigarh University (CU) is a private university accredited by the NBA and rated A+ by the NAAC. The university is approved by the UGC, AICTE, BCI, NCHMCT, PCI, COA, NCTE, AIU, and CSI. CU Chandigarh is a member of ICAR, AUAP, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, IUCEE, and ACS.
Moving up 29 places from the previous year, CU now ranks 120th among Asian institutions, placing it in the prestigious top 2% of higher education institutions (HEIs) on the continent.
In addition, the university was ranked in the 691–700 range of the QS World University Rankings 2025.
