Accreditations and International Recognition
ISB is accredited by the world’s three leading business school accreditation organizations:
- AMBA (Association of MBAs)
- EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System)
- AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)
Thanks to its AMBA accreditation obtained on May 12, 2020, ISB has become the 100th institution in the world to achieve the “Triple Crown”.
However, ISB is not accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has not applied for such accreditation. In fact, it awards certificates rather than university degrees. Furthermore, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) considers that ISB’s Post-Graduate Certificate (PGP) is not equivalent to an MBA in the United States, unlike similar degrees from the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
